The 2012 event was done in cooperation with the US Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) and the City of Warren.   It was held at the Warren Parks and Recreation Center in Warren, Mi. The site is near 13 ½ mile and Mound Road.   The event was part of a celebration for TACOM's Organizational Day.   2012 was the 70th Anniversary of the Command and turnout by TACOM employees and their families was great.   An inspection of the historic vehicles was made by MG Michael J. Terry, the new CG of TACOM, and his aides.   General Terry took time out to greet and speak to many of the vehicle owners and express his appreciation for bringing them out to display and providing educational discourse between the public and themselves.   In all, there were 32 vehicles on display, including several that are unique and rarely seen, such as a rare prototype HMETT and a 1964 Dodge Power Wagon built to the Danish army's specifications.   We would like to extend a special thanks to Lee Industrial Contracting who graciously provided transport, free of charge, for the HMETT prototype to & from the show.
